Past to Present Play: Summer Garden Party June 20

Summer Tour Stirs Quiet ValleyOver 52 years, Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm has introduced guests to experience farm life as it was nearly two centuries ago. Unmasking a family friendly atmosphere filled with farm animals, gardening basics and history;  guides portraying family members invite all to experience days gone by.

As the popular Stroudsburg destination embarks upon another stellar summer tour, opening festivities spark excitement with the eighth annual Summer Garden Party set for June 20. New adventures around every turn await all age groups including Fun Food for Picky Eaters, a treat for tots, with Container Gardens and Rock Art programs for older youth and adults. There’ll also be Veggie Art and Soil Box fun for everyone!

Victorian Tea, a special fundraiser starting 11:30 will benefit the non-profit. Guests age eight and up are invited to enjoy tea sandwiches, salad and fresh baked goodies, along with teas and lemonade. Seating is limited so $15 reservations are required.

Open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., general admission to the farm is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 3 to 12.
